FAQ

How do we book?

A signed contract and a 50% non refundable retainer officially reserve your date on my calendar.

Do you travel for sessions?

Yes, travel is included within 50 miles round-trip. Locations beyond 50 miles round-trip are subject to a flat $75 travel fee. For locations exceeding 100 miles, a custom travel quote may be required.

Can I bring an outfit change?

Yes, depending on the session timing. If time allows, you’re welcome to bring one outfit change to add variety to your gallery. We’re happy to guide you on what works best.

Can we choose our location?

Yes! You're welcome to choose a location that's meaningful to you or if you'd like suggestions, I'm happy to recommend some of my favorite outdoor locations throughout Southern California.

What time of day do you recommend?

We typically recommend scheduling sessions during golden hour, shortly before sunset for the best natural lighting. This helps create soft, flattering tones and a more polished look in your photos.

Can I bring props?

Yes, you’re welcome to bring simple, meaningful props. We recommend keeping them minimal so the focus stays on you while still adding a personal touch to your session.

What if I feel awkward in front of the camera?

That’s completely normal. Most clients feel this way at first. We provide simple, natural direction throughout the session so you’re never left wondering what to do. The goal is to keep things comfortable and genuine, allowing your personality to come through naturally.

What happens if the weather doesn't cooperate?

If weather conditions make it unsafe or unsuitable for your session, we'll gladly reschedule for the next available date at no additional cost.

What if I need to reschedule?

We understand that plans can change. Sessions may be rescheduled with at least 3 days’ notice. Reschedules requested within 3 days of the session may be subject to a fee or require a new retainer.
